Background

The Baja 1000, which began in 1967, is one of the most challenging and thrilling off-road events in the world. Short-course trucks, often referred to as light trucks, are typically designed for urban use and short-distance transport, prioritizing efficiency and agility. However, in events like the Dakar Rally, these trucks undergo extensive modifications, including upgrades to their suspension, chassis, specialized tires, and cockpit safety features. These enhancements equip the trucks to navigate harsh terrains such as desert dunes, rocky landscapes, river crossings, and mountains, enabling them to perform exceptionally well under extreme conditions.

Introduction

The FSC24 Chaser is available in two striking paint schemes, featuring a plastic shell crafted using a blister process and adorned with eye-catching stickers that stand out on any terrain.

FMS has developed a new-generation FSC24 chassis, equipped with front independent suspension and a rear straight axle. The frame is constructed from high-strength nylon, providing an ideal balance of lightness and durability. The mid-mounted power unit, with its low center of gravity, incorporates a two-speed transmission and a 370 high-speed brushed motor into a single compact unit. The two-speed transmission is controlled via CH3 on the remote, while metal planetary gear differentials at both axles ensure robust torque delivery for high-speed off-roading, exceptional cornering, and a realistic stance.
